How to Create and Use Contact Lists

Edited

Contact Lists make it easy to organize your contacts into groups so you can quickly communicate with the people you reach out to most often. Instead of searching for individual contacts every time, you can send messages to an entire list with just a few clicks.

Watch the Video Tutorial:

Creating a Contact List

Step 1: Open Contact Lists

  1. In VipeCloud, click Contacts from the left navigation menu.

  2. Select Contact Lists.

Step 2: Create a New List

  1. Click the green Create button.

  2. Choose Create Empty List.

Tip: If you already have a list of contacts outside of VipeCloud, you can choose Import Contacts instead.

Step 3: Name Your List

Enter a name that helps identify the group.

Examples:

  • VIP Customers

  • Red Jackets

  • Party Guests

  • Hostesses

  • New Consultants

Click Create to save your new list.

Adding Contacts to a List

There are two ways to add contacts.

Option 1: Searching for Contacts

  1. Open the contact list you created.

  2. Click the Add Contacts button.

  3. Search for a contact by name.

  4. Select the contact(s).

  5. Add them to the list.

Your selected contacts will immediately appear in the Contact List.

Option 2: Add Contacts from Your Contacts Page

If you're already viewing your contacts, you can add them to a list.

  1. Navigate to Contacts.

  2. Select the contacts you want to add but checking the box to the left of their name.

  3. Click the Selected button that appears at the top of the page.

  4. Choose Add to Existing List.

  5. Select the Contact List you want to use.

  6. Click Add.

The selected contacts will now be included in that Contact List.

Viewing Your Contact List

Return to Contacts → Contact Lists and select your list to view everyone you've added.

You can continue adding contacts at any time as your business grows.
